A clearer digital starting point for PLS NV

PLS NV is a freight forwarder. The company organises and plans transport for customers instead of operating its own trucks or transport equipment. That distinction matters. Potential customers need to understand quickly what PLS NV does, which transport questions they can bring forward and how to request help.

Before the project, PLS NV had been working with an old website for around 10 years. It looked dated, was not well optimised for mobile visitors and had little to no structural SEO behind it. The result was limited visibility in Google, fewer than 5 website requests per month and requests that were not always a good fit.

The challenge: being found and understood

The problem was not only the age of the website. It did not help PLS NV get found for relevant transport questions, and it did not guide visitors clearly towards a concrete request. Competitors were visible when potential customers searched for relevant services, while PLS NV remained difficult to find.

The new website had to explain the business more clearly, present services such as sea freight, container planning and wine transport in a more accessible way, work better on mobile and make it easier to submit a transport request.

From a visual refresh to a conversion-focused website

We fully renewed the website and replaced the old grey visual approach with a fresher, more modern colour direction. The design was part of the change, but it was not the goal on its own. The website had to become clearer, more modern, easier to find and more focused on conversion.

A clear request form gives potential customers a direct next step. The website explains what PLS NV does, which transport and logistics questions it can help with and how visitors can submit their request.

SEO and GEO as a structural part of the project

The website renewal was combined with a continuous SEO and GEO approach. Several new blog articles are published every month around questions that potential customers actually search for. This helps PLS NV appear not only when someone searches for the company name, but also when they have a specific question about transport or logistics.

The content was picked up quickly. One blog appeared in a Google AI Overview within 24 hours of publication. That does not mean every blog gets the same result, but it shows how the content can become visible in newer search experiences as well as in classic organic search.

The result: more than 40 requests in the first month

Before the renewal, the website generated fewer than 5 requests per month. In the first month after the new website and SEO approach, PLS NV received more than 40 requests purely through SEO.

The website is now found for transport-related subjects and questions where PLS NV previously had little visibility. The project is therefore more than a redesign. It connects clearer positioning, a conversion-focused website and structural SEO and GEO work.
